Position Overview:

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt is seeking a full-time, Office Assistant in our Salem, OR office. This position is in-office, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Office Assistant is responsible for supporting daily office operations and help maintain a professional and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role is ideal for a highly reliable and detail oriented professional, who is also organized and a positive self-starter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Salem office.
  • Serve as primary backup to the Receptionist.
  • Process mail, deliveries, filings, copying, and scanning.
  • Assist with conference room setup, scheduling, and office upkeep.
  • Support client meetings, document processing, and signings.
  • Update and maintain client contact data in coordination with Client Relations.
  • Perform local errands and provide general project support as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two years of general office experience (law firm or professional services preferred).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
